Título : Procedural Video with Veronica and Off Comments by Lusdari
Actor(es) : Payaguaje, Veronica (Illustrator); Schwarz, Anne (Collector/Annotator/English Translator); Payaguaje, Lusdari (Author/Spanish translator)
Descripción : Veronica demonstrates the major steps in the preparation of cassava slides (the staple food of the Secoya), from harvesting the manioc to drying the cassava. The 38 minutes video-tape (including some still pictures) does not contain much speech, but it has descriptive written off-comments provided by Veronica's younger sister Lusdari. The comments were added as permanent subtitles in Secoya orthography (for a community DVD) and are here accompanied by Spanish and English translations.
